With an established history of over 750 successful events, Posh Petals and Pearls specializes in full-service wedding, event design and coordination. The talented team at Posh Petals and Pearls will be your friend, advisor, vendor coordinator, financial planner and problem solver. They vow to make the most of your time and budget, while reducing your stress and organizing this snapshot in your life as efficiently and wonderfully as possible. The business was founded by Tara Skinner and Ashley Greene and they just celebrated their 5 year anniversary! Here’s the group at the party and several photos.
Tara is a Savannah native since High School and Ashley moved to Savannah after college graduation when her husband became employed with a local engineering firm. They love that in this business in Savannah, all vendors are all so nice to work with. “Everyone genuinely cares about each other,” says Tara. “We have become personal friends with so many of the people we work with and we love that!”
We asked her — “What’s your favorite thing to do in the Lowcountry?” and she answered, “Spending time on and near the water with family and friends, shopping the local boutiques and eating at all of the amazing restaurants our city has to offer. She recommends that her brides go to The Savannah Theater, or River Street often offers special events that are fun to attend as well as listening to the local bands that frequent City Market. Broughton Street offers a fabulous shopping experience for everyone and a trolley ride or horse and carriage tour gives a great history lesson on Savannah’s past.
She always recommends The Olde Pink House to eat and also a visit to Orleans Square. For nightlife, sunset drinks at Perch and The Cotton Sail Hotel Rooftop Bar are a must and don’t forget to hit up Bleubelle Boutique, Kathy Rich, and Fabrik for shopping!
